How to change the imessage background?

I want to change the background of my iMessages screen from white to an image or a different colour. how is that possible?

iMessage Customizations Will apple ever enable customization for iMessage? I’m not saying crazy customization like changing the backgrounds or all that. I mean just allowing or enabling color changes for iMessage bubbles. Like green to something else. Our blue to purple? Any ideas?

My text messaging/imessage text colour has changed from white to black My text messaging/imessage text colour has changed from white to black and now it's really hard to read the messages that I have sent. Now on the green or blue background the text is black. How can I change this?
