Why is maps suddenly suggesting locations?

i just opened the maps app on my iPhone and it’s telling me how long it will take to get to an open house that’s about a half hour from me. I’m not looking to buy a house, didn’t save this even on Facebook or any other social media account and I don’t know why maps would be suggesting it. any idea whats going on? I kind of feel like maps is now trying to send me location ads based by suggesting directions to local events or businesses. Can I turn that off?
