There have been articles in publications lately that Apple is reaching out to people who had a Apple Music Trial and did not subscribe and they are sending to select customers to try a one month free trial?

Again, I've not seen anything like this, and Apple is where you find information. I suggest they are probably fake, or at least phishing attempts to get you to log into a site and provide your account details. Considering the low cost of Apple Music, I find that a 3 month trial is being quite generous. There are other streaming alternatives.
There was nothing in newsroom. I agree this is probably fake screenshots posted on these publications. They did look authentic though. Supposed program ends 27 May anyways so my wishful thinking for another free trial after three years won’t happen.
And are these reputable publications? Have you checked Apple's web site for information? Apple is where you would get current, reliable information. Newsroom - Apple
