How do I read an SD Card on MacBook Pro

Hello all

I have tried using Google to get this answer but to no avail - I keep getting results that say put it in the SD Card Slot but my MacBook Pro doesn't have one. I then try to search if there is an adaptor to use with the MacBook to read the card and get USB-C converter results. So how do I read an SD Card on a MacBook Pro that doesn't have an SD card read?

Regards

Since Apple has seen fit to remove a lot of user friendly functionality from their notebooks, You will need an SD card reader with a USB-C connection, such as:

USB-C SD Card Camera Reader, TEKBER Type C Adapter for Apple Macbook Pro and Android phone & tablet, with Type-C and OTG…

Thank you - every time I searched through google for an SD card reader for Mac it was telling me the use the SD Card reader in my Mac. Now I know Lexar makes one I can search that!

Yeah - it's been recently discontinued.

You have a bunch of options. There are stand-alone card readers, multi-format card readers, and multi-adapters. The last kind is a single hub that combines several functions, such as connections to USB-A devices, ethernet, HDMI, or SD/microSD. Here's an example:
