Turn the Beats on so they are discoverable.

On the MacBook, tap the black Apple menu at the top left of the screen. Choose system preferences.

On the system preferences pane, choose Bluetooth. Tap on 'turn Bluetooth on'. The computer will automatically connect to the Beats after a few moments.
