APEndpointAggregate Dialog Box

I have a new MacBook Pro, everything is going great except now I am seeing this dialog box whenever I wake it.

I have to dismiss it four or five times every time. I have read the earlier threadon it (which says it's solved, but it isn't), and also followed the steps to create an aggregate device in Audio/MIDI utility, but the issue remains. Seems a bug to me, I'm just posting it here to flag it.

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.3), Upgraded to Sierra

Microphone indicator (orange dot) in top right corner persists after app closed I understand that the orange dot should light up next to the control center icon in the menu bar, when there is an app using the microphone (usually Zoom). This works fine on my system, shown below: However, when I quit the relevant apps, the orange dot moves to the top right corner, and doesn't seem to go away, except after a full restart, like so: Is this a bug with the indicator light, or does the orange light in the corner (instead of next to the control center) intentionally mean something different? Seems like a bug to me, but not sure if it is known, and want to make sure there isn't a hidden process using my microphone or something. my imac wakes up at night - for instance, when there is noise My iMac sometimes wakes up from sleep at night when I pass the working room or last night when I flush the toilet - so, that is, I think when there is noise. Statistically this is too much a coincidence, so 99% true. (There is no proximity sensor in the iMac that I am aware of - this is a joke of course). Because the trigger seems to be noise I am a bit worried. Sometimes - not always, before this was a couple of months ago. It is really a scarce but scaring event. I have no apps that are allowed to use the microphone, that is, Zoom is unticked. I have no 'Hey I'm always listening' - Amazon or siri apps. Access is not ticked. I ran a virus and spyware check, it did find a malware page. I cleaned the wastebin. Was this the reason?

Continuous calandra alerts Since updating to macOS Big Sur, I no longer get the option to close an alert. It will only snooze and then reappears every 10 to 15 minutes. It is very frustrating because it does it to every event on the calendar including Holidays. Any suggestions?
