iPhone voice mail question

Hello,

Can somebody please answer a questions about voice mails?

I have a iPhone SE.

1. Is there a way to make a listened to voice mail new again with the blue dot to remind me to listen to again

when I'm not traveling?

2. When selecting a voice mail to listen to, how can I remove the gray voicemail pane underneath that almost blocks

my ability to press play and speaker? It's so tight that sometimes I can't press Play Speaker

It's very annoying.
