Image upload to this forum fails even though the image selected meets all the requirements of file name, size and type (and the png image was generated by OSX not some third party software).
This makes it impossible to upload screenshots to demonstrate problems to the support community.
Sometimes it works best to simply drag the image into the reply field like this:

Unfortunately, that is one of many issues with the forum at the moment. I had a similar problem posting a screenshot yesterday, that seemed to work on the third try.
Apparently, "engineering is working on the issues" ...... whatever that means.

Thanks, that seems to be a good workaround!
Try renaming the image to something simple like image.png. I suspect the problem is more than one dot in the filename, which OS X screenshots usually have by the way they timestamp the screenshot.
