I have a problem with audio produced to DVD due to an unwanted Dynamic Range Compression that I don’t know how to disable or adjust. I’ve made two wave captures from the same video clip. First one is from a MP4 generated clip, that shows normal dynamic range. The second is a capture from same clip, with DVD output. Now it can be seen a huge compression that enhances background noise at the beginning and then it damps louder section. It’s awful.
I don’t use Logic Pro plugins and I don’t want to use dynamic range compression in my project. I just want to know how to defeat this insane compression that happens only with DVD output.
