can't get stupid Facebook dialogue box to go away

I can't get stupid FB dialogue box to go away. It has been popping up for over a day and I have opened my preferences and deselected Facebook. It keeps popping up and I have to cancel it three times to get it to leave and it comes back in about 5 minutes. Very annoying.

Is this something Facebook is doing with cookies. Is Facebook spamming my computer?User uploaded file

Instead of trying to locate an answer within the apple help community help pages, I searched on Google "getting rid of pop up Facebook password for system preferences" That got me an answer much quicker. It said to go to system preferences, click on internet accounts, highlight Facebook, and click the - box at the bottom of the page. Problem solved.
