can't get stupid Facebook dialogue box to go away

I can't get stupid FB dialogue box to go away. It has been popping up for over a day and I have opened my preferences and deselected Facebook. It keeps popping up and I have to cancel it three times to get it to leave and it comes back in about 5 minutes. Very annoying.

Is this something Facebook is doing with cookies. Is Facebook spamming my computer?
