How do I delete purchased movies on ipad. Tried google no success

On iOS 9 is there not a 'edit' button top right in the Videos app that lets you select and delete downloaded/synced videos ? Or if you go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage > Videos you should be able to delete them.
