Question: Has the Apple CarPlay/Honda Interface been fixed yet?

Hi. I have a 2018 Honda Accord. CarPlay worked great for the first month, then suddenly quit a week ago. I did the factory reset and got it to work for a few hours, then it quit again. I have tried all the other tricks ("troubleshooting techniques") mentioned. Nothing is working. I took it to the dealership where they couldnt help. "Honda knows about it and they are working on the issue." So, I want to know where Apple is on a patch.
I have the current iOS 11.3.1. There are no pending updates for the car.

Whats happening? Whats the plan? I love the car, but this feature was a big selling point!
