Ipad Safari displays blank pages

Trying to open www.drum.army.mil webpage and my iPad displays a blank page. I know this site exists and is legit. It is not the only webpage that acts this way. Several legit newspapers also display blank pages. The data is visible for a fraction of a second then disappears. My solution so far was to download Google's Chrome browser. It works fine. I really wish Apple would fix this problem. Thank you in advance.
