Asian characters on numerical row?

My iPad Pro‘s number row will sometimes change to Asian character input mode at random; instead of typing an address or phone number it types in what appear to be Japanese or other Asian language. I don’t know if this is an issue with the iPad or my Logitech Create keyboard (I’m sending this same question to Logi’s Support team, too) but I’m wondering if anyone on the Apple Communities Forum has had the same problem, or if there is a fix that someone might share. Thanks.
