Messenger doesn't work on apple watch

I bought apple watch series 3 yesterday.I have the latest OS on my iPhone 7 plus, Notifications work, but when I open the Facebook Messenger app the spinner just spins indefinitely. I tried removing and reinstalling the app, and restarting all devices. Reported to Facebook, no answer yet.

I have tried all the methods you have, but didn't help.
