transfer call on iPhone to MacBook Pro

Is there a seamless way to transfer an active call from my iPhone 8 to my MacBook Pro while the call is in progress? The call could be FaceTime Audio or a call outside of the Apple ecosystem. The issue is that when a call ends up going longer than expected, I would like to transfer to my laptop and use my speakers instead of holding the phone or using BT AirPods. Any suggestions?
