Unanswerable calls on iphone6

Unanswerable calls sometimes 5-6 calls a day. No recorded missed or recent calls. The screen never has the normal call screen displayed. The phone just has the normal ring tone. Help!

Maybe it was not phone calls at all?

Check Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Sounds and Vibration Patterns > here

and Settings > Notifications > all your apps > Sounds > here
