iPhone X lost playlists

Question

iPhone X lost playlists

I plugged my phone into my laptop to charge. It automatically sync‘d and when I went back onto my phone several of my playlist were missing. Tried soft reset, toggle Show Apple Music switch, iTunes Music Library.xml file and import playlist. Any other ideas? Thank you

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that your Apple Music playlists are missing after recently syncing your iPhone X. You've done a great job trying to get your playlists back! I recommend making sure iCloud Music Library is on. iCloud Music Library allows you to access your Apple Music songs, albums, and playlists on all devices using your Apple ID with iCloud Music turned on. Use the steps and information in the link below:

No, I do not have Apple Music these are playlists that I have made from my music library of songs that I own (bought from iTunes over the years)
