2/3 of all Drum & Bass wrongly labeled

Hey there,

the picture says it all: I'm talking about solid 170-174 BPM Drum & Bass tracks. Of what use is Apple's genre label Jungle/Drum'n'bass, if it's not used?

Now I don't know the method of labeling and I'm super glad about getting all the good music as soon as it's released, but still... that's neither practical nor showing credit to this beautiful genre. Is it all automatically assigned?

I hope by giving that hint I can contribute to make iTunes & Apple Music even better. Thx

We are fellow users and these are user forums, you are not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple on here. If you think tracks make the wrong meta data on them in the store have you contacted the record labels/rights-holders to let them know ? Ultimately they are responsible for their content.

If you are a serious fan of DnB, you can check out the stores that specialize in that kind of music, such as Beatport:

They also list each track with its BPM.
