How do I add an already existing iCloud to my mailbox on my IPhone 6

On my phone I created I second email and then had two sperate email accounts

I then undownloaded the default mail app and re downleaded it

but when I did that the first email seemed to have just disappear from the app (i can still use messages and other apps with it though). And the second email still gives me emails and everything just as it did before

And when I try to add the original email back it doesn’t come up as an option anywhere (not even in settings)

iPhone 6, iOS 11.3.1

Hey adewitt10,

It sounds like you're having some trouble adding your email account to your iPhone, because after reinstalling the Mail app, this particular iCloud email account isn't being added again. I'll be happy to help!

Just to confirm, are you adding this email account by following the steps below? These steps are specific to adding an iCloud email account to the device:

Set up iCloud Mail on your iOS device

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud (or Settings > iCloud), then turn on Mail.

iCloud: Set up iCloud Mail on your devices
You mentioned that you don't get an option in the Settings. Are you able to follow the path posted above to turn on iCloud mail? Let us know how it goes for you.
Cheers.
