I am using a imac. Every time I start login to my account Spotify will load automatically. The app launch settings in the dock menu: right click the app options, open at login is not checked.

Then select Spotify then click - (minus).

There are no apps in login items.
Click system preferences, then users & groups. Click on login items. Highlight Spotify and click the minus sign at the bottom of the list.
Hi. I have the same problem with these replies. There are no items in the Log-In box. Were you able to find a solution to your problem?
