Logic Pro X- single note sustaining in midi software instruments

Hello. Every time I'm using my Axiom 49 to control software instruments, some of the notes sustain without me pressing the sustain pedal. Does anyone have a clue as to what would cause this? Thanks in advance.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, 2 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

Midi Sustain Won't Release in Logic Pro X I'm using Yamaha CP300 keyboard connected to my MAC. When I use Garage Band, everything works as it should. Sustain pedal works perfectly. When I switch to Logic Pro X everything works fine until I press the sustain pedal. Then it will not release the notes. It just holds them forever. I need to use the Midi Panic button on the keyboard to shut things off. Is there a setting in Logic Pro that I'm missing? Seems strange that it has problems in Logic, but it works fine in Garage Band. Any direction would be appreciated.

Sustain pedal only sustains note when not pressed I'm using an Alesis V49 with the sustain pedal connected to the sustain input. Pressing down on the pedal makes the note stop, and can only sustain notes when the pedal is up. How do I switch that back to normal?

Could be an erroneous assigned Note Off message.

See if the issue disappears when choosing Logic Pro X > Control Surfaces > Bypass All Control Surfaces.
