Someone in my condo building apparently tried to connect an amazon echo to my AppleTV via Bluetooth. Now it is listed under Bluetooth in the other section. It does not allow me to get to a forget this device option. How can I get rid of this?
iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
On your Apple TV 4K or Apple TV (4th generation), go to Settings > Remotes and Devices > Bluetooth. Select the accessory, then select Forget Device.
I am well aware this is how it should work. However, this option is not available for this “phantom “ device.
You may need to do do a reset to wipe all settings.
