My MacBook Pro will not start up. A grey screen with the Apple and progress bar (takes 20 minutes to load) is as far as i can get. Please advise!

Try an SMC reset:

Try starting up in Safe Mode:
Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support
If neither of those work boot into Recovery and Reinstall Mac OS.

If none of those work make a Genius Bar appointment for a free diagnostic:
