Why are Downloaded TV episodes not playing properly.

I downloaded season 14 of NCIS and some of the episodes are not playing properly. One of the episodes will begin playing and the video will will stop playing while the audio continues. In addition some of the episodes will display that it has been watched when in fact i have not watched that particular episode. Also, although i have downloaded an entire season, a “cloud icon” will be displayed next to an episode. Very irritating. I do not live in the United States so i must rely on iTunes for much of my viewing pleasure. Any idea what the malfunction may be?

Not playing properly - This is rare and it's possible the files are bad. Try using QuickTime to watch them or delete and re-download those episodes, if they are still unwatchable, seek a refund.

Watched episodes message - You can double click the episode and then mark it as unwatched.

Cloud icon - In the sidebar under 'Library' select 'Downloaded' - the cloud icon should go away.
