OS 10.13.4 updated. Now my iMac won’t connect to the internet via Safari, Chrome, or Firefox even though it shows connected to the internet.

My iMac will not connect to the internet after updating to OS 10.13.4 High Sierra. Any solutions? Also, I can’t get it to boot in safe mode.
