How do I manage storage on my Macbook air? All the help directions say to go to storage on about this mac and click the "manage" button. But I do not have such a button. I am trying to free up storage.

There is no mash a button, free up storage convenience. You start by looking at your home folder, and particularly, the size of your Photos Library, Pictures, iTunes and Movies folder contents. I know someone that had 45 GB of emails in Apple Mail, because they never deleted anything. Look at the non-Apple applications in /Applications, and your Downloads folder.
