App I’ve never downloaded appearing on my phone?

I was on my phone and noticed there was a new app on my home screen. It was called “MobileRN” and I tried to open it but all it does is crashes. I deleted it and forgot about it. A few days later, that same app reappeared. Whenever it appears, it doesn’t have a tile image and all google searches and App Store searches show that no such app even exists. What is this and has this happened to anyone else? I have two step authentication enabled so I don’t think anyone is hacking my account but I don’t know what else it could be.User uploaded file

Hey sarahmu,

If I understand correctly, you had an app on your iPhone that you deleted but has returned. One reason an app can be added to the iPhone on its own is if it is pushed to the device. These explain how the app may have been installed and how to check if the iPhone is managed.

You can now do one of several tasks:

  • Assign and push apps and books to users and groups.

  • Push profiles you create to users and devices.

Enable mobile device management

Tap Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management. If there is a profile installed, tap on it to see what type of changes are made.

Get started with a supervised iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
