ipod classic 30GB boots to an error display screen
Well, not really an error, all it says is apple.com/support/ipod but there is no explanation on what is wrong... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It most likely means the hard drive has failed. See If you see a red X icon on your iPod classic or iPod nano (5th generation or earlier) - Apple Support.
