I got a series 3 Apple Watch as a gift for someone can they connect to cellular plan?
I recently bought an Apple Watch ⌚ series 3 as a gift but they are not on my phone plan can they conn to their cellular plan?

To use the standalone cellular features the Apple Watch GPS+LTE version MUST be setup by the user’s cellular network as a secondary device on the user’s iPhone service plan. The gift recipient will have to arrange this with their network.
