Macbook won't turn on

My macbook will not turn on at all, not start up sounds or any kind of activity. The light on the power cable is still working. My macbook has done this twice before, shutting down and not turning back on for a while before starting up as if nothing is wrong. This time, it has be unresponsive for a couple of days, as opposed to previous times when it only remained responsive for a few hours. I have tried SMC reset and nothing seems to be working. The macbook is a macbook pro (retina, 13", early 2015) model. Is there anything I can do to fix this or do I need to take it in to be fixed by a professional?
