@ Azzmazter

I have personally experienced on several occasions, attempting to access my Apple Account, or have noticed that I was not Logged In, and attempted to Log In, only to find that my Apple ID had become disabled. From my personal experience, in addition to heaps of time (hours, days, and with more difficult issues, months) with Customer Service, troubleshooting and diagnosing the problem, which leads me believe your issue could have arisen as a result of one of several reasons.

Firstly, if you have not restarted your iOS operating system in quite a while, this could be a simple fix. You should restart your computer, by either holding down the Power Button, until the device shuts down, then power back up, perhaps giving the device a minute to cool down, although this is not necessary. Alternatively, you can also Reboot your system by holding down the Power Button, along with the Home Button simultaneously, until you see the system shut down, and only let go when you see thr Apple Logo. I am not sure of the difference, however I feel I always find that I free up more System Memory when I reboot using the latter.

Secondly, if your iOS is not up to date, your iPad may have trouble communicating with Apple and iCloud. This is likely the first thing you should check. Before you attempt to Update, remember that you should Back-Up your iPad device, and then Download the latest version, which is currently iOS 11.4, released on May 29, 2018. That is unless you are using a Device which is not compatible with the upgrade, such as an old iPad, for instance, iPad Version 1, 2 or 3. The Download can typically be done on your iPad, under Settings>General>Software Update. However, if this doesn’t work, plug in your iPad to your Computer, ensure iTunes is up to date, by going to the Help Tab (I believe that is what it is named), or without question, look for the furthest tab to the top upper right of iTunes. Then click Check for Available Downloads, then Download and Open the respective .exe file downloads; you may see that you habe several updates relating to your needs, an upgrade for both iTunes, as well as iOS 11.4, which includes Security Updates and Patches. However, if you’re iTunes software is up to date, still ensure to back-up your device, then proceed with downloading the latest iOS version mentioned above.

Thirdly, I have found that this circumstance can occur as an indication of one’s System Memory is near capacity. In other words, if you are running out of Storage, which you can ascertain by seeing recurring Notifications on your iPad, which read, “iPad Storage Full.” Also, you would notice this by going to, Settings>General>iPad Storage>, where you would see a Red Badge Icon, with the following circled in red, “(1).” In addition, when your storage is at Capacity, you will generally notice two red circled badges, essentially two areas under Settings>General, which will again show you the following, “(1).”

In order to help better troubleshoot your particular circumstances, it would help to expand on your original Question. For instance, what prompted you to Reset your Apple ID in the first place, as well as what was happening prior to this instance, and what you are trying to accomplish overall. If this password change was set in motion due to a request from a text or email to change your password, even if you believe the message was legitimately sent from Apple, as seventy one had previously mentioned, this is not a policy that Apple employs. As a result, you may have been the victim of a Phishing Scam or Potential Hack.

Depending on where you were when you attempted to reset the password, you should ascertain any potential security risks and threats. If you were at home at the time, it might be a good idea to turn off the Modem to which you were connected. If at work, I would notify the IT Department of any potential threats; in fact, they might even be able to assist you with your problem. I would then suggest that you turn off the Wi-Fi on your iPad, and then turn on Airplane Mode, so that you can deter any immediate threats. Next step would be to contact Apple ASAP, directly from the Secure Apple website, as you may be at Risk.

As far as I understand, and likely the general public is concerned, Apple is extremely secretive regarding their products, that is, even Developers and company IT Deparments, who utilize Apple products through their Business Operations, do not really know just how ostensibly Secure their products are from Threats. As far as their Operating Systems are concerned, as well as their Applications, these are not likely candidates for Intrusion, as the Applications are Compartmentalized, in essence, each Application has its own encryption, which protects one application from another, which disallows, for reasons of Security, from being able to see other Information on your device. This also implies that the iPad, Modem and Router wouldn’t likely be impacted from a security threat, however your Personal Information in the Cloud, could be compromised.

I thought I would reply with all potential scenarios, so that you can attempt to regain comtrol of the situation at hand. My apologies for digressing in answering your question, I just figured that this information could help others as well, if not now, sometime in the future. Please let me know if you have any further questions, I am happy to help. However, please ensure you respond to the questions I raised above.
