Replaced logic board on Macbook Pro, won't boot from Mac OS, only from Win on BootCamp

Hello good people,

The problem I got myself into is as follows:

I had to have the logic board replaced on my 2012 MacBook Pro 13'' after liquid spillage. I have Boot Camp on it as well, with Win 7.

Now it won't boot from Mac OS, it only starts in Windows. Boot camp / Win works perfectly, no issues there; it will also start in recovery Mode using cmd+R, but the options are limited and I could not find anything there to get it running in Mac OS again.

I am not too fussed about recovering anything at this moment, I have most docs saved on an external drive, I just want to format and start with a fresh install if I cannot get it back on track as before.

Could someone help with some tips / instructions on what I could do here?

Thank you!

Dan

The macOS version on your internal disk seems to be higher than what is offered in IR.

This

2: 7C3457EF-0000-11AA-AA11-00306543ECAC 423.9 GB disk0s2

is an APFS container, which your Recovery OS version does not understand. If you have an external 32+GB disk, I suggest you re-install macOS on this external disk, and upgrade it if necessary to match High Sierra (10.13.4). It is safer to repair the internal disk using the same version.

As a test, can you post the output of

diskutil apfs list

I do not expect this command to work.

Apologies for the late reply, just got home from work.

Indeed, the command did not work.

-bash-3.2# diskutil apfs list

diskutil: did not recognize verb "apfs"; type "diskutil" for a list

-bash-3.2#

As for the OS version, I really don't remember which one it was at the time when the accident happened, but I accessed by AppleApp store and looked under my MacBook Pro profile, which states:

Model:MacBook Pro 13"

Version:macOS 10.13.4

I'm booted in Internet Recovery. If I click on Reinstall macOS, I'm offered macOS Lion. The thing is that I cannot actually go ahead with this, when I go to 'set up and install new copy of Lion', click continue, then 'select the disk where you want to install mac OS x', the only option available there is 'Bootcamp', where it says 'This disk is locked'.

Replaced logic board on Macbook Pro, won't boot from Mac OS, only from Win on BootCamp
