Apps quit unexpectedly and won’t let me reload them

I restarted my MacBook and after I had loaded it up again it came up with a eating saything that safari had quit unexpectedl, I continued on as I did not want to open safari again however once on the home page I kept getting notifications saying that I needed to reload safari so I did however it is now unresponsive and so are all the other app whenever I try to go on one it comes up with a message saying safari quit unexpectedly
