Start up Mac Book Pro

When ever I close the lid on my 2012 mid 15" mac book pro it will not start back up properly. I have to push power up button numerous times and when it does start up the mouse will be frozen. I have to power down and then try and restart. I have reset the SMC and it worked well for one night then went back to the same behavior the next day. I have tried shut it down, putting it to sleep and it does not change anything. If I push the lid back to it fullest extended position the power button seems to react better. Could I possible have a problem with my lid?

Mac Book Pro keeps on rebooting after closing the lid I have Mac Book pro 16" 2019. I have updated to the latest mac OS Monteray. However, every time I switch it off and close the lid, it automatically reboots again. Hence for a very long time, it has never gone off, unless the lid is open. This is annoying since sometimes you might want to preserve the battery, especially if you are travelling but it won't just let you switch it off. Is this a system malfunction? Anyone who has experienced this and how did you resolve it?

Mac Book Pro keeps shutting down a min after rebooting i have an old MacBook 13 inch from 2012 and it’s shutting down a min after it loads. I’ve tried the control option shift and it doesn’t change anything. I am unable to get computer support during this time and don’t want an extra expense of a new computer in this climate. Was hoping someone out there can help me fix this. Thanks!

Mac Book Pro keeps shutting down after log in. Only logs in if charging. For the past few months my Mac Book Pro has been shutting down at 98%-ish or after I log into my user. However if my laptop is connected to a charger it works perfectly besides the quick black flash of where it would have shut down if the charger was not in. Can someone please help me soon. I am finding it hard to deal with. I have tried to run the disk through first aid ( what ever that is). Nothing has seemed to work.
