iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular WONT RESTORE

hi guys I need you genies advice here I'm having problems restoring my ipad iv done a restore many times before so I'm not new to this. half way through the restore and update (no choice I have to update it also) it gets stuck and gives me an error code and goes back the plug into a pc iTunes screen ??
