If so, there should be a white box connected to your stereo, made by Apple, marked A108x, A1264, or A1392 (please identify), with Wi-Fi capabilities. That box can be connected to (the rest of) your network in several ways, wired or wirelessly. It can be configured with special software for macOS or iOS.
The requirement is that the computer with iTunes and the iOS device with the iTunes Remote app are on the same network. If they are on the same network, then they should automatically find each other (through Bonjour).

I play music from iTunes on my Mac to my home stereo system using the Mac or I can use the remote app on my phone.
All are currently on a WiFi network.
I want to change that WiFi network to another one that I have that is more stable.
When I try to change the WiFi on the Mac, it can’t find the ‘house music system’
The remote app and Apple TV need to be on the same network. If you are trying to change to change the wifi network for both then you would go into settings on each device to do so.

If the Apple TV is already on a different network from what your remote app is connected to then you will need a physical remote to change the network on Apple TV.
It’s not Apple TV, it’s itunes on my Mac going to my house music system.

Which device are you trying to change the Wifi network on and what exactly is the issue when you attempt to do so?

So you would need to look into that and have it configured so the music system is available on the same network as what your Mac is on so they can both find each other.
