For the last few nights, while reading with my Kindle app, my iPad will freeze and then reboot itself. I am concerned that the iPad is somehow infected with malware. Is anyone else seen this?

Thanks for the response to my problem. I think I didn't make what I am experiencing clear. It is true that the application stops responding but that isn't the end of the event. The iPad freezes it won't respond to anything I do. In about a half a minute the iPad shuts down and then restarts - without me doing anything to have it go through a restart. After the device gets up and running I have to open the Kindle application and then I can continue with my reading. This is happening around 10 PM. The article you referred me to only deals with an application not responding, it doesn't address the iPad freezing and then rebooting. It seems so strange I thought it may be infected with something that queries it - possibly dumping info - then reboots it to reset it for the next time it is asked to dump info.
If you have identified the issue causing the reboot to be the specific app than the same information provided is your trouble shooting. Delete the app and reinstall. if that does not solve the problem, it was not the problem. Could be something in the content the app uses or several other things.
Lets use know how it works out and we can ist some more next steps. Make sure to back up your iPad often as an erase may also be in the near future.
I am having the same issue. Recently started. I can read for about 20 minutes and then the iPad freezes and restarts.
I will try reinstalling Kindle and let you know what happens.
