I can't login on imessage and facetime using my new apple id

Please help, I cannot log in on imessage or facetime using my new apple id that I created. Is there something I am doing wrong? Please advise.

imessage & facetime unable to login with a new Apple id I recently purchased XS max and created a new Apple ID. I wanted to use the new one so that I logged out my old Apple account from my Macbook.
