Wrong Apple ID

Does anybody know how I can get my sons phone un-associated with a wrong Apple ID? Sams club setup his phone with the wrong id and we didn't know till we tried to send it in for repair.

Sam's Club either needs to do the second part of the first article or the second article.

To sign out of that Apple ID and sign back in with the correct credentials, you'd need the Apple ID and password that Sams Club set up.

I'd take it back to Sams Club and either have them log out of the phone or have them provide you either a replacement or a refund.
