Phone calls not working

when I try to place a phone call the speaker option is greyed out, otherwise the speaker is working fine. I can hear the phone sounds and clicks but not for phone calls. I can’t compelte a FaceTime call or send any audios through text, but videos on YouTube are able to play with sound.

Unable to hear calls unless on speaker phone When I make a call, the speaker icon flashes on and off and I am unable to hear anybody unless I tap the speaker icon again and have the call on speakerphone. There are no bluetooth devices connected and all of my software is upto date, any suggestions?

I have sound and volume but when I make a call I cannot put on speaker nor can I hear them and they cannot hear me I cannot hear a phone call. Nor can the people on the other end hear me either. I no longer have the option for speakerphone when on a call. However I can watch videos just fine. Why is that?
