I got the iPhone 7 Plus in 32 gb in gold last week and i‘m not impressed with the front camera. The images are blurry and absollife worst in lowlight. The camera can’t seem to focus on anything, everything is kinda out of focus and blurred. I did clean the lens multiple times and I did force restart my device.
The front camera is much lower resolution than the rear camera.
If it's really blurry, then make an appointment with your local Apple Store or other servicer, as your phone may have been defective from the start.
The problem is that, they didn’t have any solution for it. They told me to clean the lens with a cloth and I did. That didn’t fix anything. I tried restoring my phone and that didn’t help too. It was fine when my phone was on iOS 10, so I think this is a software problem. I hope iOS 11.4 fixes this.
I don't believe it's software or we would have thousands of other iPhone 7 Plus owners complaining, and we do not.
