Does Final Cut pro X import 100 fps?

Hey, guys, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I shot some footage in 100 fps on the Sony A7sii but when I go to drag the file into the timeline it says the max is 60 fps. Does anyone know what the deal is?

I'm using Final Cut Pro x version 4.

Any help would be great!

Thanks,

Austin

FCP only edits in standard video frame rates. The purpose of shooting high frame rates like 100fps is to create slow motion. To make slomo using high frame rates put the clip in a standard frame rate project, like 25fos, and apply Automatic Speed from the Retiming menu.
