I now have a new Iphone 8 and have tried to restore from backup that I had done with my iphone 6 before it died but it wont let me download Apps, please help.

I have updated to the latest ios 11.3 and my iTunes is also updated. I have tried doing power resets on my phone, I have also checked the restrictions on the apps, and have removed touch as a security pass, so now just enter the password but it still wont let me reload the apps I had on my previous phone. is there a setting I need to change or something? I am connected through a wifi network so the size of the download should not be the problem.
