fingerprint stop working

it says "Touch ID, Unable to activate Touch ID on this phone". When I go to settings and put in the passcode, all the settings are disabled and the added fingerprint is greyed out. If I try to enable any of the settings I get "Failed, Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again".

I restarted the phone, made sure the thing is dry and clean, reset all settings. Going into settings -> Touch ID & Passcode, I wont take a fingerprint. Then when I turn one use option, like iphone unlock, the next screen to "setup a fingerprint" appears for a second or so then goes immediately to another screen saying it "failed" - that it was "Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Touch ID will no longer work My touch ID for my fingerprint will no longer work on my six hours I went to settings trying to add a fingerprint it won’t let me. cannot set fingerprint for iphone SE When I try to complete the Touch ID setup, it says "Failed Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again." It does this before I can even try to add my fingerprint. Just reloaded the phone from scratch, not from backup, at recommendation of tech at Apple Store.
