Question: Apple ID only valid for US stores

im getting an error screen when trying to listen to Apple Music. In another post the recommendation is to change my country in settings. The problem is that I have to cancel my Apple Music subscription first and I haven’t been outside of the country so I don’t know why I’m getting this error suddenly.

It's my understanding that you're getting an error with your Apple ID only valid for US stores. I do have a suggestion that may help. Force close the App Store: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Then restart your iOS device and try again. I would also verify your information for your billing and Apple ID.
