Is there anyway to remove backup encryption in iTunes?

Recently dropped my iPhone 6s and screen went out and became unresponsive, went to a repair shop who said the IC connected to the LCD screen was damaged. I wanted to restore the backup from a month ago to another android phone which I had using Smart Switch but wasn't allowed to because of the encrypted backup in iTunes unless I deselect it. My iPhone 6s could not be connected to iTunes due to the device password being set hence unable to uncheck the encrypt backup box. So is there any way I can remove the backup encryption so that I can access the backup?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.2.1, null
