I have a teen leaving the state for visitation; he's gotten into trouble and has court ordered limits to technology.
He has a previous order to have a phone; we've always been good to monitor, but I'd like to lock it up tighter.
We use restrictions. We use Verizon Family Base, but it's not that helpful.
Can you tell me what other's have used/what works best with IOS? Thank you.

Thank you. Restrictions are present; visitation parent wants texting/internet/phone -- teen is not supposed to be on the internet or text contacts. I'm looking into supervisory apps like Net Nanny - but find many limited by IOS.
Unfortunately (or luckily), i don't use those 3rd party apps, so I can't be give you an appropriate suggestion, Astrogid.
Maybe a colleague can see this thread and be more helpful.

Honestly, it sounds as if you might be better off with a basic phone, especially if the teen is not supposed to have internet access.
