I tried browsing in private mode once and now every time I open safari it opens in private browsing mode. How can I cancel private browsing mode so it opens in general browsing mode?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
Open safari preferences > general > click on drop down arrow of safari opens with and choose a new window .
Quit the window as well as safari browser .
When you again click on safari icon in the dock it will always open normal browsing window .

Try going to Safari/Preferences/General and set Safari opens with to something other than A new private window.
